One of the greatest points of "add-on" sales, in business history,
is the checkout counter at the grocery store.
 
I say this only to point out that impulse buying is still a very real
thing!
 
Now let's take that same concept and go mobile...
 
Imagine you're standing in an event center where tens of thousands
of people are going in and out.
 
It could be an arts and crafts fair, a home show, a comic convention,
a sporting event...
 
... let's pick sporting event.
 
Now, as you sit and watch your favorite team play whichever sport
they play...
 
... at the same time you're #growing-your-business by strategically
#marketing a cool idea that the greater part of 50,000 raving
sports fans are seeing on their mobile devices!
 
I know the technology works because it worked on me...
 
... true story!
 
While sitting in a movie theater with my daughter, recently...
 
... she pointed out, on her Android phone, how this same type of
ad pops up and stays on her phone, offering her discounts 
at the concession stand, every time she comes to 
that particular theater...
 
... and has redeemed a coupon code more than once.
 
Great idea... but what does that mean #to-marketers like you

Let's get back to the raving sports fans...
 
How do we  #pitch-our-offer to this raving mob of
loyalists?"
 
That depends on what we are promoting!
 
The three scenarios that I keep "geeking out" on are...
 
... #direct-selling (tee shirts, hats, perhaps even some affiliate products)
 
... #lead-generation (car sales, real estate, insurance sales, 
#business-opportunities)
 
... #list-building (who do you suppose, especially if you live near a major 
city, maybe interested in reaching your list of 20,000 plus raving sports
fans with their offer and will happily pay you for that opportunity?)
 
Now, let's take it a step further...
 
Of the three scenarios above, let's choose #lead-generation for a
#business-opportunity.
 
When it comes to a #business-opportunity there are two primary ways
in which people grow... product sales and referral business.
 
So if I were to go to a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game with the ability
to reach a HUGE percentage of the people, in that stadium,
directly on their mobile device...
 
... and I were building a #health-and-wellness based #biz-opp, here's
what I would do (#feel-free to steal this idea!)
 
First, I would create a video squeeze page that shared with them that
there's a cool way for them to make some extra money to see
more games, or even become season ticket holders...
 
Second, on that squeeze page they enter their first name and best
email address to #get-more-information.
 
Third, they are directed to a page that presents #the-opportunity...
 
... the ad, that leads from the mobile device to the squeeze page
would read (something like)...
 
"Season Ticket Holder? You Could Be... Check This Out!"
