This is an old post I decided to reprint here from a closed blog, it doesn't apply directly to internet advertising, however, there are lots of businesses that could still use this strategy (some are online based too) so I'm putting this out here for your information. It really shows that there are many ways to do marketing and the more creative you are the greater your rewards.
